Thanks in particular to the new coronation of its leader Jonas Vingegaard on this Tour de France 2023, the Jumbo-Visma has won the jackpot.
After 2022, Jonas Vingegaard won his second Tour de France this year, after a bitter battle with his great rival Tadej Pogacar. Thus, the Danish rider pocketed the nice check for 500,000 euros promised to the winner. The Slovenian earned his team 220,000 euros.
And unsurprisingly, the Jumbo-Visma won a large part of the 2.3 million euros in bonuses awarded by Amaury Sport Organization (ASO), the organizer of the Grande Boucle. Indeed, the formation of the yellow jersey collected a total of 664,280 euros.
The final ranking of the bonuses for the teams on this Tour de France 2023. Like last year, the Jumbo-Visma comes first: as a reminder, the final victory brings in 500,000 euros. The winnings are – traditionally – shared between runners and staff members. #TDF2023 pic.twitter.com/ZOIhB2kl5w

With 455,000 euros, UAE Emirates, Tadej Pogacar’s team takes second place in this ranking, far ahead of Ineos Grenadiers (132,910 euros). Team DSM-Firmenich brings up the rear with 12,180 euros.
It should be noted that these bonuses collected by the different teams during the three weeks of racing are, by tradition, shared between the riders and members of the staff.
