After a little rest, the 42 players summoned by Fabien Galthié and his staff were present this Monday in Marcoussis to start a second internship before the 2023 World Cup.
Serious things have started again for the XV of France. Indeed, after a first preparation course in Monaco (from July 3 to 14), followed by nine days of rest, the Blues were expected this Monday in Marcoussis, at the National Rugby Center, to start a second internship for the 2023 World Cup, which will be held in France from September 8 to October 28. Compared to the 42 players present in the Principality a few days ago, only the right pillar Thomas Laclayat (Racing 92, ex-Oyonnax) gave way to Sipili Falatea, recovered from his right knee injury. If the Blues were able to cut a little after Monaco, with however a personalized program to follow, they will quickly drool again. ” Expect a big week at the CNR (de Marcoussis) “, in particular entrusted Thibault Giroud, the director of performance, before this short break, in remarks taken up by L’Equipe.
