Motiejunas reste sur le Rocher

After having known eleven different clubs during the first fourteen years of his professional career, Donatas Motiejunas has decided to settle down a bit and will play a third consecutive season in the same club, which had not happened to him since his NBA adventure in Houston (2012-16.) The 32-year-old Lithuanian strong winger (or pivot) has indeed extended his contract with AS Monaco, the champion club of France.

Motiejunas fourth player to extend

In the 2022-23 fiscal year, Donatas Motiejunas shot 8.5 points and 3.7 rebounds in Euroleague, which ASM finished in third place, and 10.7 points and 4.6 rebounds in Betclic Elite. The player drafted in 2011 by Minnesota in 20th position will play in the World Cup in Asia with Lithuania (against Egypt, Mexico and Montenegro in the group stage), before starting the French championship in mid-September.
