According to Foot Mercato, the former coach of Rennes and Real Sociedad is about to be sacked by the TFC. The reason is not sporting, since it would be a dispute between the technician and his leaders.
The latter would like Montanier to commit to a long term, but the coach, currently under contract until 2024, would not see it that way. Still according to Foot Mercato, the Violets have even already identified a possible successor for Montanier.
