Novak Djokovic was able to bring Marton Fucsovics into line after a stubborn first set to validate his ticket for the third round of Roland-Garros in three sets during the evening session.
Novak Djokovic will not be absent subscribers during the third round of Roland-Garros. Scheduled in the evening session on Court Philippe-Chatrier, the world number 3 was able to overcome Marton Fucsovics, Hugo Grenier’s scorer at the start of the fortnight. The Serb got off to a flying start with the break obtained from the Hungarian’s first engagement. However, after missing an opportunity to double the bet, Novak Djokovic was less serene on his serve. If he was able to dismiss four break points in the fifth game and then three more on his next engagement, the seeded number 3 of the French Open ended up giving in. By dint of insisting, Marton Fucsovics got what he was looking for and equalized at five games everywhere.
