« I am the son of a man born in Kosovo, I feel a greater responsibility to support our people and all of Serbia. As a Serb, I am very touched by what is happening in Kosovo. It is our birthplace, the heart of all historical moments in our country. The biggest battle took place here, the most important monasteries and churches are here”explained Novak Djokovic to Serbian journalists. “I don’t want to get into political debates. If I am given a fine or something like that, I would have no regrets and I would do it again because my position on this is very clear. I am against war, against violence, against any kind of conflict and I have always expressed it publicly”continued the man with 22 Grand Slam titles.
“It’s not a secret that one of the reasons I keep playing is breaking records. Things have been progressing well in practice in the last week, I feel good physically, nothing bothers me.”
