As the Rugby World Cup looms, Antoine Dupont entered the Grévin Museum with Frédéric Michalak.
Sébastien Chabal is no longer alone. The former second line was indeed until then the only rugby player honored at the Grévin museum. The native of Drôme was joined by Antoine Dupont and Frédéric Michalak. The two men were on the Grands Boulevards on Wednesday to inaugurate their wax double. A necessarily special moment.
“It’s super weird, frankly. Seeing your double is disturbing”, said the former player, on the way to becoming the new rear line coach at Racing. While he was to appear in rugby uniform, the former Toulonnais preferred to appear in a technician’s outfit. The double of Antoine Dupont was designed with the jersey of the France team, ball in hand. And the trouble is the same for the current captain of the Blues. “It’s well done even if I find it hard to say because I don’t see myself by definition”he confided.

“It’s really disturbing,” he added, explaining, for the anecdote that the red card received during the autumn tour had been a blessing in disguise. “We talked about a busy schedule, so I had to take a red card to spend three hours with Frédéric for the measurements”, he revealed in reference to his red card received against South Africa in November.
