Arrived last summer from Lens, Jonathan Clauss said he should stay at OM next season.
Except cataclysm, theOlympic Marseille should finish 3rd in Ligue 1 behind the RC Lens. A delicate position since it forces the Olympians to go through two preliminary rounds in order to climb into the group stage of the Champions League. From a sporting and financial point of view, this creates many uncertainties about OM’s summer transfer window, not to mention that Igor Tudor is not sure if he will stay next season.

But in all this lot of uncertainties, the Riviera club can in any case ensure the presence of Jonathan Clauss in the Marseille squad. After a more than correct first season (2 goals, 13 assists in all competitions), the French international told the microphone ofEurope 1that he would play well under the colors of OM at the start of the school year. “I discussed it with everyone. There is no reason for me to leave. Unless something extraordinary, I will be there this summer”explained the former Lensois, under contract until 2025.
