Losc striker Alan Virginius reduced the gap from the penalty spot in the second half (70th), after South Korean goals from Lee Seung-won (22nd) and Lee Young-jun (64th) ahead of Thimothรฉe Lo-Tutala, but the Bleuets were unable to snatch the point of the draw despite a total of 23 strikes (6 on target).
Coach Landry Chauvin believed before the match that South Korea were the most dangerous team in the group. His team will therefore continue against the two weakest, Gambia (Thursday) then Honduras (Sunday). The first two of each group as well as the 4 best 3rd will compete in the 8th.
