As the Tour de France slowly but surely draws closer, Marion Rousse is on her way back to work. Julian Alaphilippe’s companion has her work cut out for her.
It’s time it’s decided, the time to return to work has indeed come for Marion Rousse. After a few days spent with the family with Julian Alaphilippe and their little Nino, the young woman made her way to the office. Both a commentator for the group France Televisions and director of the women’s Tour de France, Marion Rousse is preparing to spend a particularly busy summer.
This Monday on her social networks, the one who was champion of France on the road in 2012 before retiring from cycling in 2015 posted a small black and white photo. A photo taken at the edge of an RER track with the mention “Back to work” (return to work). And even if she does not hide that her various professional activities enchant her, by choosing black and white for this shot, Marion Rousse has decided with the usual all-color photos. A way perhaps to show his little end-of-holiday blues.
Two “Tour de France”
For her, the news will therefore be busy since the men’s Tour de France begins in a little over a month with a first stage scheduled for July 1 near Bilbao (Spain). The Grande Boucle will then last three weeks before concluding on July 23. Almost a month during which viewers of France Televisions will be entitled to comments from the young woman.
And no time to rest for Marion Rousse since she will continue with the Women’s Tour de France which will be held over a week, from July 23 to 30 with a start in Clermont-Ferrand and an arrival in Pau. Director of the event, the native of Saint-Saulve will be in the oven and at the mill during the event. The return to work is definitely confirmed.
