This Thursday, during a conference held in Manacor, Rafael Nadal officially announced that he would be absent this year for the first time in his career at Roland-Garros. The Mallorcan has also announced that 2024 will probably be his last season… if he can play.

As anticipated in recent hours, Rafael Nadal will not participate in Roland-Garros this year. Not sufficiently recovered from his injury which he has dragged on since last January, the Spaniard will therefore miss the Parisian Grand Slam for the first time in his immense career. At almost 37 years old (June 3), it’s a blow for the native of Manacor, winner of the Coupe des Mousquetaires 14 times.
