For the first time in more than ten years, no French player will play in the Champions League final this season.
We finally know the poster for the final of the 2023 edition of the Champions League. Double winner of AC Milan (0-2, 1-0), Inter validated its ticket for Istanbul on Tuesday evening. 8 French players in the semis
There were, however, several French players involved in the last four of the most prestigious of European competitions. On the AC Milan side, Olivier Giroud, Theo Hernandez, Mike Maignan and Pierre Kalulu had the opportunity to reach the final, as did Karim Benzema, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Ferland Mendy on the Madrid side.
