This Sunday the Blues completed the 7-a-side rugby stage held in Toulouse in 3rd place. The French fail for their part at the foot of the podium.
The world rugby sevens circuit made a stopover this week in France, in Toulouse. An advantage for the Blues, irresistible in group matches, authors of a faultless. In turn, South Africa (31-7), the United States (19-14) then Fiji (24-19) suffered the law of the Habs.
Then in the quarter-finals, it was Great Britain who failed to tame Jérôme Daret’s men at the end of the day on Saturday. But this Sunday smiled less at the Blues, defeated in the semi-finals by New Zealand (14-19). Consequently knocked down in the small final, Joachim Trouabal and his team dominated Canada to get on the podium.
What a way to kick off a semi-final!

Aaron Grandidier split a double, Jordan Sepho and Jonathan Laugel also found their way to the in-goal to overcome the North Americans (28-12). Following this small final, the All Blacks Sevens dominated Argentina to lift the trophy for this Toulouse stage.
Like their female compatriots. They also beat France in the semi-finals this Sunday (7-31) before outclassing the United States (19-14) to win the title. As for the Bleues, unlike the boys, they lost their small final against Australia, quite largely (7-33).
Next weekend, the Blues will once again be on the bridge during the stage organized in London.
