Barça took the best of Atlético Madrid (1-0) this Sunday at Camp Nou as part of the 30th day of La Liga.
The day after Real Madrid’s victory against Celta Vigo (2-0), FC Barcelona and Atlético Madrid faced off this Sunday at Camp Nou in the shock of the 30th day of La Liga.
And under the Catalan sun, it was Barça who got the better of Atlético Madrid, with a short but precious 1-0 victory. Served by Raphinha, author of a superb match, Ferran Torres scored the only goal of the game in the 44th minute of play, just before half-time, with a flat foot safety with his right foot.
After three matches without a win, and especially without scoring, the Catalan club is therefore back to success and increases its lead at the top of La Liga with 76 points, 11 more than Real Madrid, its runner-up.
Griezmann hit the bar
Opposite, Atlético Madrid did not deserve. In sparkling form with the Colchoneros, Antoine Griezmann leaves frustrated, after touching the bar of Marc-André Ter Stegen after… 45 seconds of play only. The 32-year-old French international striker (119 caps, 43 goals) then stumbled on the German goalkeeper of Barça, author of a nice save on his left foot shot.

Defeated for the first time in La Liga since January 8 and a setback against… Barça, Atlético Madrid remains stuck in third place in the standings. Diego Simeone’s players are five points behind second-placed Real Madrid and six points ahead of fourth-placed Real Sociedad.
