Andrey Rublev has not lost a single game since March 28. This Saturday, the Russian chained an eighth consecutive victory. In the semi-finals of the Banja Luka ATP tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the 6th player in the world, seeded n°2, beat the Slovak Alex Molcan, 73rd player in the world, in two sets (6-2, 6-4) and 1h30 of play.
In the first set, after two first balanced games (1-1), the Slovak was the first to crack, then giving up his next two services, to then find himself fairly quickly trailing 5-1. Not without having, between these two breaks, wasted two break points, at 1-2. At 5-2, the Russian served to win this first round. After three break points saved, Andrey Rublev finally achieved his goals (6-2).

Finally, in the second and final set, at 1-1, Alex Molcan again lost a serve, this time blank. From 3-2 to 5-4, neither player managed to win his face-off. The break points were even numerous, with six on the side of the 73rd player in the world and seven for his opponent of the day. In this little game, it was the Slovak who was still a break behind. At 5-4, the seeded No. 2 served to win this game.
Without trembling, the Russian concluded, on his very first match point (6-4). Andrey Rublev will play his second consecutive final, after that of last week on the side of Monte-Carlo. His next opponent will be the winner of the duel between two Serbs. On one side Dusan Lajovic, 70th player in the world and on the other Miomir Kecmanovic, 33rd player in the world and seeded n°4.
