Ferland Mendy, it's a disaster!

After a thigh injury at the end of January, Ferland Mendy hurt his calf and could miss a month of competition with Real Madrid!

Obviously, the season of Ferlandy Mendy turns into a nightmare. Not retained by Didier Deschamps for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar (although he had started in the last two matches of the Blues in September), the left side of the Real Madrid suffered a thigh injury at the end of January and missed 12 games for Los Blancos.

Mendy had returned to competition before the international break, coming into play in the Clasico against Barça (2-1), but he injured his left calf on Thursday in training at Casa Blanca. According to a journalist from Sexta, the former Lyonnais could be unavailable for a month.

Carlo Ancelotti will not be able to count on his 27-year-old side in the King’s Cup semi-final return against Barça, at Camp Nou (April 5), and in the two Champions League quarter-final matches against Chelsea (April 12 and 18).

David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga can fill this position on the left of defence.
