If AS Monaco is more reasonable in terms of salaries, Wissma Ben Yedder still enjoys an XXL salary.
Inflation has not taken hold in Monaco. At least as far as the salaries of the Principality’s club players are concerned. An exception, however: Wissam Ben Yedder, who sits well at the top of the standings among Monegasques and is even the highest paid player in Ligue 1, excluding PSG.
With a monthly salary of some 650,000 euros according to L’Equipe, the French international has little to envy to most Parisian players. In Monaco, he receives more than twice as much as his runners-up, Alexandre Golovine and Kevin Volland, who earn 300,000 euros a year.
While Gelson Martins and Breel Embolo complete the Top 5 with a monthly salary of 250,000 euros, Malang Sarr follows with 250,000 euros, ahead of Guillermo Maripan and Takumi Minamino, respectively paid 240,000 and 230,000 euros monthly. Youssouf Fofana and Axel Disasi close the Top 10 with 220,000 euros in monthly salary.
