Hervé Renard should be named new coach of the France women’s team this Thursday.
Doubt is no longer allowed. Announced as the big favorite to take over the French women’s team after the ousting of Corinne Deacon, Hervé Renard should be inducted this Thursday afternoon, on the occasion of an exceptional FFF Comex, reports RMC Sport.
The former coach of Sochaux or Lille was released from his contract with the Saudi Federation, with which he was engaged until 2025. He should thus join France overnight. It must be said that his first list is expected Friday at midday.
Lower salary than Deacon
The Savoyard technician would have agreed for several days already with the French Football Federation and would have already constituted his staff which will be composed in particular of Éric Blahic, Laurent Bonadéi and David Ducci.
According to the newspaper The team, Hervé Renard should receive 300,000 euros annually at the head of the Blue, while he received no less than 1.1 million euros annually for the position of coach of Saudi Arabia. As a reminder, his predecessor, Corinne Deacon, amounted to around 400,000 euros.
