Former Togolese international Emmanuel Adebayor (39) announced the end of his professional career on Monday.

End clap! In a video published on Monday via his Instagram account, Emmanuel Adebayor announced that he was ending his career as a professional player. Aged 39, the former Togolese striker (66 caps) had been playing at AC Semassi FC since the summer of 2021.

Trained at FC Metz, Emmanuel Adebayor notably went through AS Monaco, Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid. In 593 matches played throughout his career, the Togolese totaled 207 goals and 65 assists.
