Former PSG player, Mathieu Bodmer has made revelations about the atmosphere he could sometimes reign in the Parisian locker room in his time.
If for several seasons Paris Saint-Germain has been singled out for its lack of character on the pitch, especially during major European matches, there was no lack of it in the Parisian locker room at the start of the Qatari era. In an interview granted Moha Bezzouaoui, Mathieu Bodmer, passed by the club of the capital between 2010 and 2013, delivered an anecdote on this subject.
“At the time, you may have had too many, too many guys with character, too many complicated guys to manage, but on the pitch there were only good guys. When it was necessary to say something, it was said. In the locker room it was sometimes tense, we are not going to lie to each other. This is how you advance. I had plenty of endgames where we were on the brink of a fight.”confided the sports director of Le Havre.
“Ancelotti was the best. A very great coach and a very great man…”

“We almost hit him”
« An example ? In Auxerre, Nenê leaves with Kevin Gameiro everywhere, he does a roulette in front of the goalkeeper instead of shifting it, he said. We lost 2-1, in the locker room he was struck by lightning. We almost hit him, that’s the truth. I have a friend of mine called Milan Bisevac who threatened him strongly. He told her, “you can’t play with my title”. Ambiance.
