A fatal fall for Campenaerts
“I am of course very disappointed to miss the classics with Lotto-Dstny. Everyone saw that we had started the season very well and I was looking forward to continuing this momentum in the next Classics. Unfortunately, I have to follow them while lying on the sofa. I am convinced that my teammates will show great things in the coming weeks, and from home, I will be their biggest fan”, reports the best climber of the last Tour de Wallonie.
Its duration of unavailability is currently unknown. Since the start of the season, Victor Campenaerts, winner of a stage on a Grand Tour (Giro 2021), has only participated in one World Tour category race. It was at the start of the season, during the Circuit Het Nieuwsblad where he finished 62nd.
