It’s terrible for Gane, who dreamed of buying the UFC heavyweight champion belt, left free by Ngannou, in conflict with the organization. This is the second defeat for the French, after his loss on points against Ngannou, precisely, in January 2022, in Anaheim (California). His victory in Paris at Tai Tuvasia, last September, had allowed him to bounce back, but it is only a distant memory.

Gane fell from a great height, but he had against him the one who reinforced his status as an MMA legend, the one who is nicknamed the “GOAT”, the Greatest of All Time, the greatest of all time. We must remember two things for Jon Jones: that it was the first time he had entered the ring in three years, and that it was his very first fight in the heavyweight category.
