The 39-year-old Brazilian full-back is accused of raping a 23-year-old woman on the night of December 30 in a Barcelona nightclub bathroom. Allegations he has always refuted, initially ensuring that he never met the complainant, then admitting to having had consensual sex with her.
“I wanted to protect this young woman”
The video tapes screened, the various testimonies collected and the scientifically recorded elements such as DNA traces corroborate the version of the young victim. And yet Dani Alves surprised his world recently by declaring himself a victim before a private prosecutor’s office.
According to the Catalan media Ara, the former Blaugrana assures that the complainant would have thrown herself on him to perform oral sex without his consent. “ She went straight to me.
