AC Milan lost heavily to Inter (3-0) on Wednesday evening in the Italian Super Cup.
Author of a canon start to the match, this Wednesday evening at the international stadium of King Fahd in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Inter Milan easily won the seventh Italian Supercup in its history, the second in a row, at the expense of its great rival AC Milan, struggling, like its last outings.
The Nerazzurri quickly took the lead thanks to Dimarco, receiving a low cross (1-0, 10th). Ten minutes later, Dzeko, served in the area, was quick to double the lead (2-0, 21st). The score could even have been heavier at the break for the Rossoneri without a big Tatarusanu. Lautaro Martinez hit the nail on the head at the end of the match with a very nice goal (3-0, 77th).
Holder on the Milan side, Olivier Giroud will not have weighed on the debates. The top scorer in the history of the Blues was replaced in the 79th minute by Rebic. AC Milan is thus continuing a complicated year 2023, unlike its interist neighbor, who has a third success in a row (all competitions combined).
