Pending Union Berlin’s Sunday outing against Mönchengladbach, Bayern took the lead in the German championship on Saturday.
The Bavarians were a hit this Saturday in front of Mainz (6-2), with goals scored by Gnabry (5e), Musiala (28e), Mané (43e), Goretzka (58e), young Tel (17), defector from Rennes this summer (79e), et Choupo-Moting (86e).
The visitors saved the honor by Widmer (45e+4) and Ingvartsen (82e). Insufficient to upset the Munich residents provisionally endowed with a two-point lead over the Union, four over Fribourg.
