For its second consecutive reception in the league, Boulogne-Levallois won against Le Portel (92-82) at the start of the 3rd day of Betclic Elite.
Boulogne-Levallois remains intractable on his floor. After Pau-Lacq-Orthez at the start of the week, it was Le Portel who lost at the Palais des Sports Marcel-Cerdan on the occasion of the opening match of the 3rd day of Betclic Elite. The start of the match saw the two teams meet but it was the Metropolitans, led by Ibrahima Fall Faye (26 points, 6 rebounds), who raced in the lead. Nevertheless, the gap was not made during a hung first quarter and concluded with a margin limited to two points for Vincent Collet’s players. Gradually, the teammates of Victor Wembanyama (19 points, 6 rebounds) left behind the ESSM, who first pointed to eight lengths of Ile-de-France before cashing a 9-0 in the last moments of the second quarter. A series which thus allowed the Metropolitans to find their locker room with a lead of fifteen lengths.

Boulogne-Levallois could not manage
Pushed to 17 units at the start of the third quarter, the gap then melted. The Portel, under the impetus of Ronald Curry (19 points) and Terry Allen (16 points, 9 rebounds), approached ten points behind before returning below this bar as the last ten minutes approached. However, the Metropolitans raised their heads to approach the last quarter with an eleven-point lead. Last ten minutes during which the two teams went blow for blow and the gap oscillating between six and ten points. A situation that continued throughout this fourth quarter but without Le Portel managing to reverse the trend. Boulogne-Levallois won in the end by ten lengths (92-82) and followed up with a second success in a row. The Northerners, meanwhile, continue their way of the cross with a third defeat in as many outings since the start of the season.
