The Premier League’s top scorer, Mohamed Salah, has been named Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year.

The Premier League season isn’t over yet, but it’s time for the first end-of-season trophies. The Football Writers’ Association has thus awarded its player of the year award. A prize awarded to Mohamed Salahwho won 48% of the vote and came ahead of Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City) and Declan Rice (West Ham).

Top scorer in the championship with 22 goals, the Egyptian has 30 goals and 14 assists in 44 matches in all competitions and is therefore a big part of the Reds’ great season, battling with Manchester City in the league and on track to play a new Champions League final.
