Opposed to Marton Fucsovics, seeded number 7, for his first match in the ATP tournament in Stockholm, Adrian Mannarino lost heavily in two sets.
The ATP Stockholm tournament is already over for Adrian Mannarino. The Frenchman missed his debut in Sweden during his duel with number 7 seed Marton Fucsovics. The Hungarian had the opportunity to take the service of the Habs from the first game but the latter was able to push back two break points and then hold out for a long time without being too worried. However, the 40th in the world was able to convert his third opportunity to then win the first set on his serve. The second round was a lone rider for Marton Fucsovics, whose only moment of doubt was a break ball in the second game. Infallible on the three break points he was able to obtain, the Hungarian did not leave the slightest chance to Adrian Mannarino, who resisted for form by dismissing a first match point before admitting defeat (6- 4, 6-0 in 1h13 ‘). Tommy Paul also validated his ticket for the round of 16 by winning against Leo Borg, son of legend Björn Borg, in two sets (6-4, 6-2 in 1h07 ‘).
