While Le Cannet and RC Cannes face each other this Sunday, Mulhouse got the better of Saint-Raphaël to take second place in the standings when Nantes dominated France Avenir 2024 and temporarily climbed on the podium.

Before the leaders’ duel, the pursuers put the pressure. Indeed, while the 6th day of the Women’s League A will conclude this Sunday with the clash between Le Cannet and RC Cannes, the reigning French champion has confirmed that he has his say. Traveling to Saint-Raphaël, Mulhouse first let slip the first set before tightening the game and signing a second consecutive success, the fifth in six games (25-23, 27-29, 21-25, 17- 25). Nantes has also been able to settle between Cannettanes and Cannoises. Traveling to Albi to face France Avenir 2024, the Nantes women needed four rounds to win (18-25, 30-28, 18-25, 17-25) and temporarily take third place in the standings. Paris-Saint-Cloud could have done the same, but the Parisians fell sharply on the floor of Chamalières (25-19, 21-25, 25-18, 25-15), which signs a second success in a row.

Evreux is still losing ground

A victory which allows the players of Puy-de-Dôme to leave behind in the Evreux standings. The Normans bowed for the fifth time in six days on the occasion of the reception of Béziers. The two teams surrendered blow for blow during the meeting but it was the Angels who made the difference during the tiebreak to chain a second success in a row (17-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-10, 9-15). A second half of a painting that saw Terville-Florange bow for the third time in a row and in three dry innings during his trip to Venelles (25-19, 25-17, 25-21). Marcq-en-Barœul, for his part, signed a second success in a row at the expense of Vandeuvre-Nancy (25-20, 25-23, 20-25, 25-22), who misses an opportunity to move up the rankings .
