Grand National du Trot, Elie de Beaufour on the Pornichet racecourse

PRESENTATION DU GRAND NATIONAL DU TROT

In this Wednesday, September 8, 2021, the Tiercé Quarté Quinté + will compete on the racecourse of Pornichet. the Grand National of Trot, the first competition of meeting I, will see its kick-off given to 13h50. Our tournament is a Group III reserved for trotters aged five to ten inclusive. Distributed over three starting levels, our sixteen competitors will have to cover, according to their earnings, the 2725, 2750 and 2775 meters of the sand track on the left hand. The total allocation will be 85,000 euros, including 38,250 for the winner. A very nice stage for our companions on the tour.

OUR FAVORITES

ELIE DE BEAUFOUR (13), if he had not conceded the victory to Fakir du Lorault in the Lisieux stage of the Grand National du Trot on November 23, he would be quite simply undefeated in twelve months. JMB’s protégé discovers the Pornichet racecourse, but that shouldn’t upset him too much. Referred from the previous ones and entrusted to the “Boss” for this tenth stage, we naturally retain him very high in our selection.

ITON FAVORITE (7), fifth to the Duchess of Sassy over the 2,825 meters of grass in Sablé-sur-Sarthe at the start of July, filed the opposition as soon as he left the Soisy ring. For his last performance on the same racetrack, the protégé of Hughes Levesque only bowed at the very end of the course, nevertheless obtaining the first runner-up. Once again entrusted to Eric Raffin, this high-quality trotter should please its takers.

OAK EURO (9), winner of the Sables-d’Olonne stage on July 16, did not have the right course on the Soisy ring more recently. He has just passed the post as the winner on August 14 at Divonne-les-Bains, but was quite logically sanctioned by the commissioners, his gait not being really academic. Wise, he must dispute the finish.
