Close to agreeing with Real Madrid on Raphael Varane, Manchester United would like to recruit another French defender.
Will the Red Devils line up with a 100% French hinge next season? To believe the Daily Mail, that would be the will of the Mancunian leaders. We knew Manchester United close to enlisting Raphaël Varane, for whom the vice-champions of England are willing to pay nearly 50 million euros, but to believe the British daily, another tricolor international could follow.
Manchester United would indeed also aim Jules Koundé, which interests many European leaders. But if Chelsea, Tottenham and Real Madrid follow the French closely, the Sevilla FC has yet to receive any offers and Manchester United could take advantage. After spending 85 million euros for Jadon Sancho and therefore being on the verge of aligning 50 million for Raphaël Varane, the Red Devils will indeed probably have to offer some 80 million to convince Sevilla FC to let go of his young defender.
