The French Olympic team beat South Korea 2-1 on Friday, less than a week before the start of the Tokyo Olympics.
It was only a preparation match but it will maintain the good morale of the French footballers. Less than a week before the start of the Tokyo Olympics (July 22-August 8), the France team dominated South Korea, 2-1, this Friday at Goyang Stadium in Seoul.
The Asian selection opened the scoring from the penalty spot by Kwon (63e), before André-Pierre Gignac (captain) and his teammates overturn everything at the end of the game. Randal Kolo Muani (83rd) and Nathanaël Mbuku (88th) were the scorers of the team coached by Sylvain Ripoll, with, it should be noted, a big fault from the South Korean goalkeeper on the winning goal.
France will start the Olympic tournament next Thursday against Mexico, before facing South Africa (Sunday July 25) and Japan (Wednesday July 28) to complete the group stage.
The starting eleven against South Korea: Bernardoni – Caci, Kalulu, Sagnan, Michelin – Savanier, Tousart, Le Fée – Thauvin, Gignac (cape), Nordin.
