How much do the players of the France team earn?

If not in selection, the Blues selected for this Euro by Didier Deschamps are earning their living very well. Some elements more than others.

It is common knowledge: footballers earn a very good living. A fortiori the internationals who embody the elite of the round ball. Especially when they defend the colors of a French team reigning world champion. However, huge disparities exist between the Blues of Didier Deschamps in terms of salaries.

One of the ultimate tricolor jokers in this Euro 2020, Marcus Thuram touches in Mönchengladbach some 150,000 euros per month, reports the specialized site Sports. That is four times less than Lucas Digne at Everton (600,000 euros per month), and nearly eight times less than Lucas Hernandez at Bayern (1.1 million euros per month).

Anecdotal international bonuses

Antoine Griezmann, the best off French executives – from the top of his 2.8 million euros received each month at FC Barcelona – receives nearly 19 times the emoluments of Lilian’s son. Kylian Mbappé, with 2.1 million euros monthly, also appears in the upper echelons, like a Paul Pogba who completes the podium with 1.4 million euros to his credit each month.

Note that the Blues, as much as they are, will receive an individual bonus of 400,000 euros if they go to the end in this European Nations Championship. A bonus that will be paid by the French Football Federation, which will be rewarded with a check for 27 million euros by UEFA in the event of triumph. In 2018, the day after their world coronation, Didier Deschamps’ men had ceded their bonuses to charities.
