Canceled last season, the UNFP Trophies are back. Kylian Mbappé is a favorite to his succession.

Health crisis requires, the traditional raout bringing together all the gratin of French football will not take place. However, the UNFP Trophies, canceled last season due to the cessation of the championship, will indeed be awarded. “Will give birth, from Saturday May 15, 2021 for the Ligue 2 BKT and from Thursday May 20, 2021 for the Ligue 1 Uber Eats, to a multitude of events which will dedicate the winners of each category”, indicated National Union of Professional Footballers.

The UNFP unveiled on Monday the lists of nominees for the various awards. Five players can thus claim the title of best player in Ligue 1. And if Kylian Mbappé is the favorite, the top scorer in Ligue 1, already crowned in 2019, will have a hard time alongside his teammate Neymar, Lyonnais Memphis Depay, Monegasque Wissam Ben Yedder and Lille Burak Yilmaz, who has never ceased to mark the spirits in recent weeks.

Christophe Galtier for the pass of three

On the way to winning the title of champion of France, Lille should also win several trophies. Appointed as the best goalkeeper, Mike Maignan is favored by the predictions against Anthony Lopes (Lyon), Keylor Navas (PSG), Steve Mandanda (Marseille) and Benjamin Lecomte (Monaco). And it is the same for Christophe Galtier, who will seek a third coronation face to face with Rudi Garcia (Lyon), Franck Haise (Lens), Niko Kovac (Monaco) and Christophe Pelissier (Lorient).

Among the hopes, it is Eduardo Camavinga (Rennes), Sofiane Diop (Monaco), Aurélien Tchouaméni (Monaco), Amine Gouiri (Nice) and Maxence Coqueret (OL) who will compete for the trophy while the title of best player will be awarded to Kadidiatou Diani (PSG), Khadija Shaw (Bordeaux), Marie-Antoinette Katoto (PSG), Delphine Cascarino (OL) or Grace Geyoro (PSG).

Sparkling, resplendent, surprising, impressive. They animated our national championships this season, and it is time for congratulations ?
