Despite its elimination in the semi-finals of the Champions League, PSG should receive a nice check thanks to its European course.
This will obviously not be enough to erase the bitterness born of the elimination suffered in the face of Manchester City. A year after his failure in the final against Bayern Munich, the PSG Indeed this time stalled in the semi-finals, victim of the cold realism of the Citizens: beaten 2-1 at the Parc des Princes last week, the Parisians completed their European adventure with a new defeat at the Etihad Stadium (2- 0). But the champions of France can console themselves with the new jackpot won thanks to the Champions League.

A year after finishing at the top of the ranking of earnings with a check for 126.8 million euros, PSG should indeed receive some 112 million despite its failure in the semi-finals. In detail, the club of the capital must in particular touch 57 million euros thanks to its results, with 15.25 million participation bonus, about 11 million euros for its 12 points scored in pools (four victories rewarded at height of 2.7 million each), 9.5 million for his qualification in eighth, 10.5 for that in quarterfinals and 12 for his accession to the semifinals. By stalling at the gates of the final, the Red and Blue have also seen a check for 15 million euros.
For the rest, PSG must also collect 28 million in TV rights according to L’Equipe. A slightly higher sum than that received last season because of the poor results of the other French clubs involved. Finally, the champions of France can expect between 25 and 30 million euros thanks to their classification in the UEFA coefficient.
Note that if this nice jackpot will not be enough to make up for the club’s deficit, estimated at 200 million euros, the forecasts of the Parisian leaders had not been so optimistic since the club’s budget had been established by counting on a course until the quarter-finals.
